Happy Birthday JOHNS Peggie Cynthia 3rd February 2023 Mum had three siblings, (one of which was sadly killed during the last world war), she and her husband Richard (Dick) have two sons, she also has three grandchildren and one great grandchild, plus three nephews. Mum spent a number of the war years in the northern parts of England, including Andover and Blackpool, but after many house moves settled in Dover, where she lives to this day, this was independently until quite recently, when a brief spell in hospital resulted in a recuperation in respite care. (Alandale Residential Care, Dover) Mum is a lifelong supporter of the RNLI, Dover Express and W.I. She spent many years in Dover as a hair stylist, plus on a rota basis with many of her friends, arranging the weekly flowers within St Mary's Church Dover, in addition she was accompanied with her husband as a church guide for the many visitors to this historic church. Part of her many volunteering tasks undertaken over the years was spent with her husband, as a school escort for disadvantaged children which gave her great satisfaction. The whole family send her all their love on this her very special birthday.
